Space Race: Make Learning about the Solar System fun!

Video | Space Race

Space Race is a site dedicated to teaching about the solar system. There are 8 characters that speak about the planets, space stations and asteroid belts.

The site is also interactive with several games, interactive flash cards, puzzles, worksheets, trivia and more.

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a restful winter break and are ready to get back into the swing of things!

I wanted to highlight some 5th grade student work that was completed recently for my class. This student developed a funny, creative video about SOAR (safety, ownership, act responsibly and respect) at our school. This program is based on our school's implementation of PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support). Our students take great pride in this program and this video is one reflection of it.
